Browse the marketplace

Open Marketplace under Community. The page title is Marketplace.

Marketplace stays locked until you have an active Origin Member Portal subscription, or until the farm’s primary owner does. The dialog is Activate your portal to use the marketplace. Select Activate portal to subscribe. Manage that subscription later under Member Settings, then Member portal subscription.

If your society has turned the marketplace off, the page is not in the menu.

Find a listing

Browse all listings shows how many animals are available. Select a card, or select View listing. A Featured badge marks a paid promotion. Listings without a photo say No photo.

Filters narrows the list by Distance, Sex, Type, Price, and Listing status. Distance appears when your profile has a location. Listing status is Available listings or Sold / hired listings. Select Search to apply the filters, or Clear filters to reset them.

Sort with Newest listings, Oldest listings, Price: Low to high, or Price: High to low.

An empty list says No active listings match your filters. Sold and hired listings say No sold listings match your filters.

Select a seller’s name to open their profile. View seller profile on the marketplace page opens your own. A seller with nothing listed says This seller has no active listings right now.

Contact the seller

On an available listing, select Contact Seller. The dialog is Contact seller. It shows the seller’s name, address, and phone when those are shared. If they are not, it says This seller has not shared additional contact details.

View seller profile opens that seller’s listings. When member messaging is on, Send message opens a conversation with them.

The portal does not collect payment for the animal. You arrange the sale with the seller.
