Review a death report

A death report is submitted from the animal’s Actions menu as Report Death. The animal must be living, and only one death report can be pending for that animal. Open it from To Process, on All or Deaths.

The type in the queue is New Death. The dialog title is Death Review.

Review the report

The first step is Review death report. Death Details shows who reported it and the owner. The animal record says a death was reported, and the pedigree is on the same step.

Select Continue to confirmation. The second step is Confirm & approve. Back returns to the report.

Mark as deceased approves the report. The animal’s life status becomes deceased. The confirmation is Request approved. The request leaves the list.

The more menu includes Open animal record and View all deaths.

Decline the report

Request Changes and Reject are on the first step. Both use the Reject registration dialog. The animal stays living.
