Set up registration fees

Open Settings, then Member Fees. The Registrations section says Configure registration fees by option. Each option includes a description, sex, age, and fee amount.

Membership dues are set under Society details → Membership Settings. That page is in Set up member dues.

Each registration option

A row is one charge option. The columns are Description, Sex, Age, and Fee.

Under includes animals at that age and younger. Under 12 months matches an animal that is 12 months old or younger.

Over includes animals older than that age. Over 12 months matches an animal older than 12 months.

Leave the age blank to apply that row at any age. The label for a blank age is Any age.

The plus button is Add age tier. Use it when the same description should charge different amounts by age. One Female option can have Under 12 months at one amount and Over 12 months at another.

Add registration option adds a separate description. When a registration is approved, the first enabled option for that animal’s sex is the one used. Put the option you want charged first. An animal that is not male uses the Female option.

On that option, the age row that matches the date of birth is used. If several age rows could match, the first matching row is used. If none match, the last age row on that option is used.

The trash button is Remove age tier or Remove option.

A fee of 0.00 does not create a charge. Clear the checkbox when that option should not be offered. If no enabled option matches the animal’s sex, no registration charge is created.

Save

Select Save member fees. The page confirms Membership settings updated.

The new amounts are used the next time a registration is approved. Charges already on an invoice keep their original amounts. Approving a registration is in Register a new animal.
