Set up transfer fees

Open Settings, then Member Fees. The Transfers section says Configure transfer fees by option. Each option includes a description, sex, and fee amount.

Membership dues are set under Society details → Membership Settings. Registration amounts are in the Registrations section on this same page. Those steps are in Set up member dues and Set up registration fees.

Each transfer option

A row is one charge option.

The plus button is Add transfer option. You can remove a row when more than one exists.

When a transfer is approved, the first enabled option for that animal’s sex is used. An animal that is not male or wether uses the Female option.

The charge is added to the current owner by default. On the approval screen, staff can charge a recipient of the transfer instead. Approving a transfer is in Transfer an animal.

A fee of 0.00 does not create a charge. Clear the checkbox when that option should not be offered. If no enabled option matches the animal’s sex, no transfer charge is created.

Save

Select Save member fees. The page confirms Membership settings updated.

The new amounts are used the next time a transfer is approved. Charges already on an invoice keep their original amounts.
