Edit an animal record

Open My Animals and select the animal. The record opens in a dialog.

For a registered animal, select Edit Record, change the details, then select Submit changes for approval. The page confirms Changes submitted for approval or Amendment request submitted for approval. The animal stays as it is until the society approves the request.

Cancel leaves edit mode without sending the change.

Sex and registration status stay locked while you edit. You can edit an animal you own, or an animal owned by someone on your farm. An archived animal cannot be edited.

A registration that is still pending is view-only until the society approves it.

Editing stays locked until you have an active Origin Member Portal subscription, or until the farm’s primary owner does. An account on hold stays read-only.
